Growing up blues

Well last night was another notch in the growing up belt. Haleigh lost a tooth at her grandma's house yesterday afternoon. Two weeks ago her cat had six kittens and they are in her room, and they are getting quick.I gave Haleigh her tooth fairy money before she went to bed and explained we did not want to chance stepping on one of the kittens in the dark. The result?? She started crying. I felt so terrible. I asked her why she was crying and she said she hates growing up. I cried with her, I do not like her growing up either.

Too fast

I am not referring to the speed of the car but rather the speed at which we are approaching the day when she will be legally behind the wheel.

I am thinking of using this blog instead of posting pics and other personal things on facebook too much anymore. Will you read this as often as you do facebook or will I lose touch with my friends by using this blog? Lets see how it goes.

A New Breyer

Nothing can bring out the kid in me like getting a new horse model for Christmas. I hope I never get too old to get excited about a Breyer.

The Climber

She was not a climber as a baby/toddler...I guess she is making up for it now. (My heart still ponuds when I see this.)
